Sugar beet - For lifting and storing

Bergman is a modern high-yield sugar beet.  It is used by farmers who only intend to lift their beet crop with a large harvester, store the beet, and then feed to animals at a later stage.

Bergman has a consistent bulb height and width, making it easy to harvest and reducing crop wastage.  It has a very high dry matter percentage in the buld (22%) which helps to reduce transport costs and reduces perishability in the stack.
